Details
This workshop is intended to raise awareness that every civil servant plays a strategic role in preventing and combating corrupt practices. Through this workshop, participants are expected to understand that integrity is not merely a normative obligation, but a moral demand that requires courage to uphold the principles of honesty and transparency in every daily decision and action. The workshop aims to emphasize that changes in the anti-corruption culture must start with civil servants themselves, as the spearhead of public service. It also affirms that anti-corruption values such as accountability, professionalism, and the spirit of civic courage are not just theories, but operational foundations that must be internalized and concretely implemented. Participants will be guided to recognize real challenges in their work environment, internalize common value dilemmas, and foster a shared determination to remind and support one another in efforts to prevent irregularities. In this way, every civil servant is expected to become a proactive agent of change, not merely a rule enforcer. This workshop will facilitate dialogue among stakeholders, strengthen commitment to preventing corrupt practices, and reaffirm the importance of post-workshop coaching. Thus, the positive impacts will not end with the workshop itself but will be sustained through individual implementation and continuous monitoring.
This training is a collaboration between the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and the Regional Human Resources Development Center of the Ministry of Home Affairs in Bandung (PPSDM Regional Bandung – BPSDM Kemendagri).
