Theatre plays and screening of thematic documentaries are usually very effective ways of reaching a broad audience whose interest is normally more difficult to attract. The use of established forms of entertainment and infotainment in terms of newly created, artistic and modern formats, e.g. 'edutainment', open new doors in communicating key messages to an audience with limited interest in the subject matter. In this respect this approach plays an extremely important role in popularizing the project’s objectives and supplementing the other approaches.

With a focus on how citizens and organized groups can give input into decision making processes and on how they can hold local duty bearers to account the skits will be addressing issues like corruption, mismanagement, mistreatment of citizens by County Authorities.

The groups were to pick up locally relevant issues related to those topics and develop short skits which will be performed in an interactive format in events organized by the groups, in a street theatre approach and in events of other institutions/organisations that provide a platform for the groups.
