Kosovo cannot have a clean energy future if there are no clean energy experts. The University of Prishtina has a recently established curriculum for renewable energy and energy efficiency. However, the courses are not up to date and the interests from the students are low.

The event aims to raise awareness of the issue among young people and relevant stakeholders related to education, climate and energy. The point of the panel discussion will be to understand that Climate and Energy goals are highly important for Kosovo and there needs to be high quality education and interested young people to study and work in renewable energy and energy efficiency in order to develop a climate friendly, low-carbon society.
