Europe’s Security at Stake – Zagreb Security Forum (ZSF)

Together with the Hybrid Warfare Research Institute and the MEP Office Karlo Ressler, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation organized an international security conference on “Europe’s Security at Stake – Zagreb Security Forum” in the European Parliament in Bruxelles on March 22, 2023. During the conference, leading national and digital security & defense experts from the EU discussed the consequences of the war in Ukraine on security and prosperity in Europe, the hybrid attacks from the East, the pressure of the migration waves on the European external borders, the anti-European propaganda by the Russian regime, the Serbian appropriation of the Croatian cultural heritage and the use of energy blackmail as an Instrument of aggression against Europe. The key message of the security conference is: "Only a united and determined Europe can defend itself against comprehensive hybrid attacks on the freedom and security of the EU and Croatian citizens."
