The National Political Championship in Rabat

From November 7 to 9, 2025, the National Political Championship – Youth Edition took place at the Palais des Congrès – Le Bouregreg in Rabat. Organized in cooperation with the Istiqlal Party and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS), the event aimed to inspire young people from across Morocco to actively engage in politics, democracy, and civic life.

Morocco and the African Union – Current Dynamics and Future Prospects

As part of its strategic reflection activities on the future of Africa, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) invited a panel of experts to a lunch debate attended by Mr. Lukas Kupfernagel, Director of the KAS office in Ethiopia and to the African Union. At the heart of the discussions: the current dynamics between Morocco and the African Union, with a focus on strategic issues such as the AfCFTA, South-South cooperation, and environmental challenges. The event highlighted Morocco’s growing role in continental institutions and emphasized the need for a strengthened partnership to ensure sustainable and integrated development in Africa.

4th Regional Council Model Simulation: Empowering Youth in Democracy

In partnership with the Association for Youth Qualification (AQJ), the Konrad Adenauer Foundation organized the fourth edition of the Regional Council Model Simulation from April 9 to 13, 2025, in Rabat. This initiative brought together young participants from various regions, offering them the opportunity to explore the institutional foundations of regional councils and to experience local democratic dynamics in a practical and hands-on way.

The Konrad Adenauer Foundation, Morocco-Mauritania, the Center for Studies and Research on Hebrew Culture and Law in Morocco, the Morocco House for Peace, and the Essaouira Mogador Association jointly organized an international scientific meeting under the theme: "Judaism in Africa Seen from Morocco – Identities and Heritage of Morocco's African Depth" at Bayt Al Dakira in Essaouira from February 9 to 10.
