The Media Programmes of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung have launched an updated version of the Investigative Journalism Manual merging the perspective of various continents in that field.

The Investigative Journalism Manual in an online publication by the KAS Media Programme Asia and provides journalists insights about various techniques for investigative journalism, starting with the main question: How to become an investigative journalist. The manual serves as a handbook for journalists and explains what is needed to find a reliable source, how to conduct research and protect data. The Investigative Journalism Manual is currently available in 14 languages, including Bengali and Sinhala. In addition to 8 chapters, the Investigative Journalism Manual also provides country-specific case studies.
