ACFJ was established in 2000 by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and the Ateneo with the

mandate to promote good journalism in Asia by providing training and educational opportunities to Asian working journalists. It offers the M. A. Journalism, the Diploma in Photojournalism, short courses and seminars.
