The Moldova Security Forum returns to Chișinău on 8–9 October 2026 for its third edition. Bringing together more than 500 representatives from Moldova, European countries, the United States, international organisations, civil society, academia, media and expert communities, the Forum will provide a platform for strategic dialogue on the security challenges shaping Moldova, Europe and the Black Sea region.
Under the theme “Strengthening Democratic Resilience in Europe and the Black Sea Region,” Moldova Security Forum 2026 will focus on democratic resilience as a core pillar of national, regional and European security. Public and closed-door sessions will address key areas including security and defence cooperation, hybrid threats, strategic communication, cyber and infrastructure protection, energy security, crisis management, media resilience and social cohesion.
At a time of growing geopolitical competition, foreign interference, disinformation and pressure on democratic institutions, the Forum will explore how Moldova and its European and transatlantic partners can strengthen cooperation, safeguard democratic processes and build more resilient societies.
The 2026 edition builds on the strong foundation of previous forums. In 2025, Moldova Security Forum gathered more than 450 participants from 32 countries for two days of discussions on democratic resilience, hybrid threats and regional cooperation. The second edition confirmed Moldova’s growing role in regional security dialogue and highlighted that democracy, public trust and strong institutions are essential components of security.
The event will also be livestreamed on our Facebook page: Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Republica Moldova.
