Vacancy: Accountant/Admin Manager

Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Namibia/Angola is inviting applications for the position of Accountant/Admin Manager based in Windhoek, Namibia. As an independent, non-profit German political foundation, KAS promotes democracy and good governance, and is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented professional to strengthen its financial and administrative operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial administration, reporting and compliance, financial planning and budgeting, bookkeeping in KAS’s digital booking system (fav2), reconciliations, and procurement oversight. The role also includes providing support to programme staff and partner organisations, coordinating audits, ensuring adherence to both KAS internal regulations and Namibian financial regulations, handling general office administration, and managing payroll. Applicants should have a degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field, a minimum of five years’ relevant experience (preferably within an NGO or donor-funded organisation), strong integrity, accuracy, and excellent organisational skills. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel is essential, and the ability to speak German will be an added advantage.
