Traditional rulers like His Highness Ubet Anthony Eji, Chairman Ukelle Traditional Rulers Council, and His Highness Samuel Odom, who is the clan head Mfuma/NtrigomWard were among others in attendance.

Among the issues raised at the town hall meeting was the irregular interaction between the electorates and their elected representatives. Another issue raised was related to the security implication of Fulani herdsmen who are migrating to Ntrigom community as a result of the tribal conflicts with their host communities in Benue State. The electorates in Yala II were apprehensive that the tribal conflicts might spill into their communities if nothing is done on time, and were asking their representative to look at the issue with concern.

The discussions reached such a crescendo that the moderator had to stop discussions and asked the participants to sing a song, after which their anger was cooled down, and the discussion continued with Hon. Lukpata explaining that the Governor had directed the local government chairmen to liaise with the security agencies to avoid breakdown of law and order.

Finally, promises were made by both the elected representative and the electorates. One of such is that another town hall meeting will be in August, which will be funded wholly by Hon. Lukpata himself, and he promised to continue to hold such meetings in future.
