The elections on April 14th and 21th will decide about the future of democracy in Nigeria. In the past, there happened repeated violent conflicts in the surround of the elections. Therefore, a competent and fair reporting within the news becomes even more important to prevent heating-up the conflicts.

Together with "Deutsche Welle", KAS accomplish a workshop for radio journalists. The 12 participants are exercised by professionals of "Deutsche Welle" with latest equipment in current topics of qualitative high-grade journalism. Certainly, journalists of KAS partner radio stations are participating as well - KAS broadcasts own radio programmes for civic education with stations in Kano and Ibadan (and soon in Enugu).

High-ranking interview partners are available; the result shall be articles with broadcast quality.
