Strategy and vision in a time of crisis

From 28 to 30 October, KAS in cooperation with PIAC "Ljubisha Georgievski" organized another of the series of political academies, this time intended for the highest leadership of VMRO-DPMNE on the topic: "Strategy and vision in a time of crisis". This year's Political Academy included presentations and workshops led by numerous domestic experts, international representatives, current and former politicians and theoreticians regarding the management of processes in times of crisis - from all aspects that are current at the moment.

Enhancing capacities of youth wings of political parties

Training

A three-day capacity building training for youth wings of political parties was organized in Ohrid by the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO) and the local offices of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) which took place from 23 to 25 September 2022.

Creating a European Municipality: Integrity policy for 0 corruption

Training

On 6 September in the Municipality of Aerodrom, as last activity within the framework of the project "Creating a European Municipality: Integrity Policy for 0 corruption" realized by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the Faculty of Law "Iustinianus Primus" and the Municipality of Aerodrom a one-day training for the employees of the municipality took place.

Society and Religion: Ethnic groups, Identity and Nationalism

On the evening of 23rd of August the Regional Summer School 2022 was opened with the title "Society and Religion: Ethnic Groups, Identity and Nationalism". Young students from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia gathered in Skopje to participate in the Regional Summer School.

The Konrad Adenauer Foundation in cooperation with the Wilfred Martens Centre for European Studies held a panel discussion on 13 June in Skopje on the topic "Encouraging women's leadership and participation in politics and democratic culture building", which was attended by women from North Macedonia and from Europe, who are active participants in politics and society.

From 06 to 08 May, KAS in cooperation with PRAC "Ljubisa Georgievski" organised a training for mayors from VMRO-DPMNE on the topic: " Effective green and economic policies on local level - Creating modern municipalities". This event included expert presentations and workshops led by numerous domestic and foreign experts and theorists in the field of local self-government.
