During this visit, he met with the Mayor of Gostivar, Arben Taravari. At the meeting, the two interlocutors discussed topics related to local self-government, projects implemented in the municipality, the deepening of the cooperation and the upcoming local elections.
The Mayor Taravari presented a plaque with the symbol of the city of Gostivar to the Official Representative of KAS, Daniel Braun. Afterwards some of the recent investments in the city were visited, such as: The Promenade of the river Vardar, the Municipal Technical High School and the iCan Youth Centre.
During his visit to Gostivar, Braun also met with the MP of VMRO-DPMNE from Gostivar, Dafina Stojanoska. At this meeting, current political issues in the country and in Gostivar were discussed. The interlocutors concluded that the Assembly should be a platform for dialogue of the political actors and a place where sustained criticism to the political opponents will be addressed with proposing better measures and solutions in order to ensure a brighter future for all. The possibilities for cooperation at the local level were also discussed at the meeting.
