Jacques Commaille, Emertitus Professor at Ecole Normal Superieure de Cachan and one of the leading scholars in the field of socio-legal studies. He is a senior researcher at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (Paris, France) and the Head of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research at Vaucresson. He edits the review Droit et Societe and the International Review of Theory and Sociology of Law. Prof. Commaille has written numerous books and scholarly articles in the field of law, legal practice, sociology and politics.
