The issues of the establishment of a constitutional state, the reform process and the implications on the legal system were addressed in a discussion with Dr. Mudar Qassis, the Director of Institute of Law at the University of Birzeit and two research assistants of the institute.

In a discussion with Dr. Ghazi Hanania, the deputy speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) and Mahmoud Labadi, the director of the PLC, direct exchange of experiences of members of the Palestinian parliament and a German regional parliament was made possible, facilitating the discussion of the respective party system and the legislation regarding parties. In this context, the impact of the project on party’s law, which has been supported by KAF has been taken into account.
