Professional Education in Bethelehem

More than 500 participants benefited from the courses in professional education supported by Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation.

The Institute of Community Partnership (ICP) in Bethlehem implemented 19 courses of training for adults in the past 10 months with the support of the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation.

The courses focus on political education and the improvement of the professionalism of small enterprises. Furthermore, the participants obtain other job-related qualifications. On September 27, the certificates were handed over to the participants in a ceremony.

Thomas Birringer, Resident Representative of Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation to the Palestinian Autonomous Territories, underlined in his speech the impact of professional education on the economic and social development in the Palestinian Autonomous Territories. In this respect the participants do not only expand their own knowledge and capabilities but also make a contribution to the development of their country.
