Albeit the brevity of the visit, the KAS-office in Ramallah was pleased to welcome Minister Rhein and his delegation to an informatory meeting at the KAS-office in Ramallah. The Minister was eager to gain knowledge on local security aspects, the development in the sector of law, the UN bid as part of Palestine’s quest for statehood and the prospects of the peace process. Felix Dane, head of the office, outlined regional developments and the current political situation in Gaza and the West Bank as well as some of the major projects and activities of KAS in the Palestinian Territories.
