Last Thursday, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in Palestine celebrated its 23rd year in Palestine, by inviting the foundation’s friends, partners, and partner organizations as well as Palestinian and international journalists, politicians, experts and academics who have contributed heavily in the work of KAS Palestine.
The KAS Day takes place every year as a way to thank our network, and to open new channels of communication with the local community that remains the most integral part in the work of the foundation.
Moreover, this year’s KAS Day was an opportunity to officially introduce the new country director Mr Steven Höfner, who will be starting his time at KAS Ramallah in January 2020 while bid farewell to Mr Marc Frings, who has headed the KAS Ramallah office between 2015 - 2019.
Mr Frings expressed huge gratitude to the foundation’s partners and local community for the significant and fruitful cooperation and their efforts over the last four years to ensure an excellent implementation of several projects that reflect the values of the foundation in Germany and worldwide.
