The objective of this activity was to provide young women, who produce traditionally manufactured products like olive oil, honey, yoghurt, handicrafts, with knowledge on the establishment of a small business to better market their products.

The participants - 19 young women who are affiliated in local organizations in and around Taybeh – were introduced by the economists Dr. Grace Khoury and Niveen Eid of the MBA-programme at the Birzeit University to the fundamentals of the establishment of a small business.

The participants of the workshop were excited to learn how to make their traditional work into a small business, which will support the local economy and improve the own living situation.
