The topic for this year’s workshop was on “Legal Approaches to the Refugee Crisis in Asia”, and it provided a forum for our alumni to exchange experiences, best practices and ideas related to current and emerging issues associated with the refugees and migrant crisis in Asia. The workshop featured panels focusing on various issues concerning the refugee crisis, including the role of civil society organizations in advancing the rights of refugees and migrants, as well as a discussion on the emerging problem of climate refugees.
