The book features almost 70 cases in regard to basic rights with explanatory annotations to the court decisions as well as a general introduction to the German Basic Law. We have also taken the opportunity to organize a moderated panel discussion on the common traits of constitutionalism in Germany and Asia on the sidelines of the book launch. The panel discussion will see the participation of experts from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan. The author of the introduction and annotations, Dr. Jürgen Bröhmer (Professor of Law, School of Law, Murdoch University Australia), will also participate in the launch event.
