In collaboration with the ISAS, we organized (i) a Round Table on Regulating Artificial Intelligence in South Asia: Projections For the Future on 5 August 2019 in Singapore, which explored the future of AI regulation in South Asia; & (ii) a panel discussion on the Future of AI: Voices from Asia, which brought together panellists from South Asia and South East Asia to understand the unique challenges that the Asian region faces in this context. The two events brought together policy makers, think tanks, innovation companies and government actors from the region to critically interrogate the future of AI regulation in Asia and the challenges for the region.
