Service delivery and accountability benefit from exchanges between citizens and mandated-representatives. We provide the platform for this exchange!
Together with the district leadership, community and organisation leaders as well as interested citizens, we're hosting an open conversation about the status of service delivery, accountability and gender-responsiveness in the district.
This district dialogue serves to discuss challenges and progress of local government performance with the service recipients and mandated representatives. Monitoring government processes is a civic duty - We provide the platform for an exchange on the monitoring outcomes.
The measure is part of the project SPACE (Strengthening Performance and Accountability through Community Engagement)
The project SPACE runs under the EU-funded programme "Development Initiative for Northern Uganda" coordinated by the Government of Uganda.
KAS implements SPACE in the six action districts Arua, Gulu, Lira, Amuria, Napak and Moroto.
