The national public dialogue brings together key stakeholder from politics, civil society and the media to discuss strategies for improving relations between political parties and the media.

The event also provides the occasion for the launch of the first issue of the "Uganda Media Review", a journal publication developed by the Uganda Media Development Foundation (UMDF) and funded by KAS. The particular topic of the journal in 2010 is "Media and Elections"

The launch will be presided over by the Minister for Information, Hon. Princess Kabakumba L. Matsiko.
