The selected participants are working in think tanks, universities and research institutes in Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia and Belarus. Thus, the workshop will also shed light on the wider regional context of the Eastern Partnership.

The workshop offers these experts, who are already involved in the preparation of various monitoring reports or statistics, a platform for exchange. By presenting on their respective experience with monitoring mechanisms, the participants will then jointly highlight the strengths and weaknesses of the tools.

The workshop also includes talks with government officials and staff members of international organizations in Kyiv, in order to discuss progress reports from the government and EU institutions and to talk about future challenges in the implementation process.
