Bush had vowed to battle at the beginning of his presidency – is now threatening to derail President Bush's security policy.

Die Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika sind bereit, alle Zölle, Subventionen und andere Hürden aus dem Weg zu räumen, um einen freien Handel von Waren und Dienstleistungen zu ermöglichen, solange auch andere Staaten dasselbe tun. Dies ist der Schlüssel um Armut in den Entwicklungsländern zu bekämpfen. Es ist wichtig, daß wir den Wohlstand und die Chancen aller Nationen fördern.“
