As a platform where young people can express their informed opinions and analyses on politics and society, the “Young Adenauer Researcher” initiative aims to encourage political engagement, civic participation, and scientific contributions by young people to public debate, while also highlighting their respective reflections and popularizing their intellectual positions on key issues in our society.
This scientific initiative is primarily aimed at young people, particularly those who meet the
following conditions:
- Be under 40 years of age;
- Hold at least a bachelor's degree;
- Be a resident of one of the countries in West Africa;
- Have an institutional affiliation with KAS (alumni & scholarship holders of the KAS Foundation, former interns or employees of KAS).
The above criteria are cumulative.
Applicants are invited to submit proposals of their choice in one of the following thematic categories:
- Democracy & Governance
- Security & International Cooperation
- Sustainable Development & Innovation
- Other (candidate's free choice)
