Côte d'Ivoire is preparing to hold its presidential election on 25 October 2025, a crucial vote for the country's political stability and democracy. This election comes at a time when voter turnout among young people and women is a major issue, as these two demographic groups are essential to the legitimacy and representativeness of the electoral process. Previous elections have sometimes been marked by tensions, violence targeting women in particular, and high abstention rates among young people. It is therefore imperative to better understand the electoral behaviour of these populations during this major process. To this end, a post-election survey on the October 2025 presidential election in Côte d'Ivoire will be conducted. This study, which is scheduled to be finalised and published after the elections, aims to enhance understanding of the political behaviour of young people and women during the electoral process. The results of this survey will be used to guide future interventions within the framework of the WYDE (Women and Youth in Democracy Initiative) project.
