International colloquium on family status at the University Alassane Ouattara in Bouaké

From February 23 to 24, 2022, the Regional Program Political Dialogue West Africa (PDWA) of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, together with the Centre Africain d'Histoire du Droit des Institutions et des Idées Politiques (CAHDIIP), will organize in Côte d'Ivoire the second international colloquium on family status on the theme "Family status and public administration".

Details

The colloquium will bring together a dozen experts and academics from the West African sub-region. With more than one hundred participants expected, the goal will be to identify modern mechanisms for managing personal status that can facilitate the public policies of African states and effectively advance community and sustainable development.

Colloquium topics include the role of statistical data in public policy planning, national housing systems, managing internal migration flows, birth registration constraints, personal status and national security, and other thematically related topics.
