KAS, in partnership with the CCFFPPG, organized a training course from 29 to 31 July 2026 entitled “Political Communication and Women's Political Leadership.”

Over the course of three days, around 40 women active in political and public life came together with a common objective: to strengthen their leadership skills, assert their political positioning, and improve their ability to communicate, mobilize and influence effectively. The training focused on three main areas: strengthening leadership and political positioning, communication and public visibility, and political mobilization alongside the development of sustainable leadership.

Participants explored the challenges and opportunities of women's leadership, the development of their political identity and personal political brand, self-confidence, public speaking, political storytelling, media relations, digital communication, and the management of crises and political attacks.

A strong emphasis was placed on practical application. Through self-assessment exercises, recorded speech simulations, workshops on communication strategy development, crisis management exercises and the design of digital mini-campaigns, participants were able to put newly acquired knowledge into practice.

The training also addressed a key issue: resource mobilization and the financing of political projects, with a particular focus on transparency, accountability, resource diversification and the credibility of women engaged in politics.

At the end of the programme, each participant developed a personal leadership and communication plan for the next twelve months in order to translate the lessons learned into concrete action.

This initiative reflects the shared conviction of KAS and the CCFFPPG that strengthening women’s participation and leadership is a key driver of more inclusive democracy, better governance and sustainable development.

Beyond the skills acquired, the three-day event also encouraged the exchange of experiences, the creation of synergies and the strengthening of a network of committed women working for Guinea’s future.

Training, empowering, connecting and supporting women leaders: investing in their leadership means investing in a stronger and more inclusive democracy.
