Détails

The African Journalism Educators’ Network (AJEN) will hold its 2025 annual conference in Accra, Ghana, on 3-4 September. Following successful meetings in Johannesburg, Kigali, and Nairobi, the Accra gathering continues AJEN’s mission to strengthen journalism education through peer exchange, research collaboration, and organisational development.

This year’s theme - “Journalism Education Today: Embracing Change, Affirming the Basics, and Shaping the Future” - sets the tone for a two-day programme of panel discussions, workshops, and strategic dialogue.

The event is hosted at the University of Media, Arts, and communication (UniMAC) in Accra, with support from KAS Media Africa and other regional partners committed to strengthening journalism and media development across the continent.
