The conference “Israel 2048 - Towards Opportunities and Challenges of the Future” which will bring together leading and upcoming figures in the arenas of government, politics and social change to identify trends shaping Israel and the world. The aim of this year`s conference is to create an exchange of innovative ideas between experts in the confines of the academic and think tank world and game changers in the field of policy design.


III. Transatlantic Cybersecurity Roundtable

Together with the KAS offices in London and Washington, KAS Israel is hosting another expert workshop on cybersecurity. The closed event focusses on the question of international regimes addressing active responses to cyber attacks.

On Tuesday night, April 2nd 2019, the last event of the election series of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung in Israel in cooperation with the Tel Aviv International Salon and the Times of Israel took place at the Dan Panorama in Tel Aviv.

Expert Workshop on Democratic Resilience and Renewal

Convened by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, the Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy, and Strategy, IDC (Herzliya), and the Horizon 2020 multidisciplinary research project ‘Reconciling Europe with its Citizen through Democracy and the Rule of Law’ (RECONNECT) the Expert Workshop on Democratic Resilience and Renewal took place from October 3rd to 5th at the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Conference Centre at Villa la Collina, Cadenabbia, Italy.

Ende Mai 2019 veranstaltete die Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Israel gemeinsam mit dem Israel Council on Foreign Relations eine Konferenz zum Stand der deutsch-israelischen Beziehungen. Women in Diplomacy

On the occasion of this year´s International Women´s Day, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Israel in cooperation with the Simone Veil Research Centre for Contemporary European Studies organized a panel discussion on the topic of “Women in Diplomacy” on March 4, 2019 at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. The event was highlighted by the participation of several ambassadors in a panel discussion as well as a round table session with students from the Ben-Gurion University.
