An important feature of the new constitutions is the role the Kenyan citizens play in it. However, knowledge on the constitution is often very poor. Therefore the workshop aims at enhancing citizens’ expertise on their rights and duties.

Devolution led to a bicameral legislative. National Members of Parliament have to cooperate with Senators coming from the 47 counties. Furthermore every county has a governor. The workshop aims at opening up avenues of cooperation between all actors.
