The Host City Cape Town aims to host a carbon neutral 2010 Fifa World Cup. The KAS workshop will provide a platform for relevant stakeholders to discuss the HC's carbon offsetting projects as outlined in the Green Goal Action Plan.

Based on the scoping of projects presented by Sarah, and your own ideas

that you have been developing, and using the criteria for prioritization of

carbon offsetting projects in Cape Town, brainstorm a range of projects that

could be used to offset carbon for 2010 via the voluntary market. Indicate how they

will be implemented, how they will impact on 2010 and prioritize them according to

importance.

Climate Change Chiefs:

Based on the scoping of projects presented by Sarah, and your own ideas

that you have been developing, and using the criteria for prioritization of

carbon offsetting projects in Cape Town, brainstorm a range of projects that

could be used to offset carbon for 2010 via the voluntary market. Indicate how they

will be implemented, how they will impact on 2010 and prioritize them according to

importance.
