This research "How the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) shapes supply chains in Vietnam? " aims at evaluating the impacts of RCEP on shaping the supply chains and FDI pattern in Vietnam for the period from now to 2030. Based on that, the research will propose relevant solutions to the government and business sector to implement the RCEP effectively and efficiently under the context of supply chains movement and the economic recovery after the COVID19. The specific objectives are as follows:
- Assessing the output, export, import effects of RCEP on sectors and over time up to 2030.
- In-depth analysing the challenges and opportunities to improving supply chains in Vietnam, focusing on some selected manufacturing sub-sectors such as textile, electronics, food processing (to be decided during the research period)
- Proposing appropriate solutions for the RCEP implementation and making short and long-term strategies for FDI attraction, supply chain improvement in Vietnam.
