KAS Albania is supporting the Tirana Connectivity Forum 2026 (TCF 2026), a high-level platform bringing together stakeholders at a critical moment for EU enlargement in the Western Balkans. The Forum will focus on strengthening institutional readiness, advancing reform delivery, and enhancing regional connectivity and economic cooperation as Albania and the region move from preparation to implementation in the EU integration process.
TCF 2026 convenes at a defining moment for EU enlargement. With accession negotiations advancing for Montenegro and Albania; new EU financial instruments addressing convergence needs deployed in the Western Balkans; and preparations for the next Multiannual Financial Framework already underway, the region is shifting from a preparatory phase to one of delivery. This new phase calls for sustained political commitment, institutional readiness, measurable results, and genuine public ownership of national reform agendas.
Over two days, TCF2026 will focus on Enlargement Frontrunner’s progress and readiness, and explore how South Adriatic rail connectivity can unlock regional economic and business opportunities.
