This summer, together with Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen and European Humanities University, we organized the student exchange program "Students for the Future of Security and Cooperation in Europe".
We began by bringing together more than 20 socially and politically active students and held a series of online seminars, where we identified the most relevant topics in the current world agenda and, at the same time, interesting for the participants.
The program ended with a group meeting in Berlin, where participants could finally meet in person. And most importantly, to apply the experience gained by working on policy briefs on the most relevant topics: the war in Ukraine, migration, cybersecurity, feminism, and the environment. The students received inspiration and an opportunity to discuss new ideas at meetings with representatives of the Federal Foreign Office, the Bundestag, and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
