The second edition of the annual SME in Agribusiness Conference was a one-day event designed to promote a dynamic exchange of ideas and expertise in the agribusiness sector. The conference aimed to empower young people by reducing the stigma surrounding agribusiness and providing practical insights into business practices. It addressed common challenges faced by agripreneurs and offered innovative solutions for participants to apply in the industry.

Unleash the Ecosystem
In February 2019, the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) organized the 1st ever German African Entrepreneurship Summit (GAES) in Ghana. Being one of the biggest events of its kind, the event brought together over 200 representatives of the Pan-African entrepreneurship ecosystem to focus their experience and creativity on central questions of entrepreneurship in Africa and to learn from each other. The summit was on the theme, “Unleash the Ecosystem - to shape Policies, collaborate with Companies and determine its own Future.”

Bei einem von der Konrad Adenauer- Stiftung Ghana initiierten Besuch eines Vertreters der Deutschen Botschaft in Ghana, der Aussenhandelskammer Ghana und der KAS Ghana bei dem neuen Vizepräsidenten Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia tauschten sich die Anwesenden darüber aus, wie die wirtschaftliche Kooperation zwischen den Ländern vertieft, die Situation deutscher Unternehmen in Ghana verbessert und weitere deutsche Unternehmen motiviert werden könnten, in Ghana zu investieren.

Wa, 10.10.2016. Die Präsidentschafts- und Parlamentswahlen nah vor Augen wird die Atmosphäre in Ghana immer dichter und angespannter, Zwischenfälle vor allem zwischen den beiden großen, konkurrierenden Parteien National Democratic Congress und New Patriotic Party häufen sich. Aufgrund dessen ist es umso wichtiger, dass die immer noch über großen Einfluss verfügenden Traditionellen Autoritäten u.a. in der Region Upper West den Schulterschluss mit anderen wichtigen gesellschaftlichen Repräsentanten suchen und für den Frieden im Land werben.
