Preparing Today's Scholars for Tomorrows' Society: Our Problems, Our Resources, Our Solutions

KAS-Ghana office organized a 3-Day workshop in Cape Coast for KAS Scholars. The event, under the theme "Preparing Today's Scholars for Tomorrows' Society: Our Problems, Our Resources, Our Solutions" brought together KAS supported scholars pursuing various graduate degrees in universities across Ghana to the Central Regional capital to brief each other on their various research activities, engage in community development activities through the use of the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) model. The scholars took opportunity to visit the Cape Coast Castle and the Kakum National park as part of their networking and tourism activity.

The First German African Entrepreneurship Summit

Unleash the Ecosystem

The German African Entrepreneurship Summit (GAES) in Ghana takes place from Monday 11th February – Wednesday 13th February, 2019 at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel. This summit brings together 150 representatives of the Pan-African entrepreneurship ecosystem to focus their experience and creativity on central questions of entrepreneurship in Africa and to learn from each other. The event is themed: Unleash the Ecosystem - to shape Policies, collaborate with Companies and determine its own Future. The GAES is organised by the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) in collaboration with some partners. The partners include the Ministry of Business Development, AHK (Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Ghana), Afrilabs, #i4Policy, Make-IT in Africa and Ghana Tech and Business Hubs in Ghana

In February 2019, the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) organized the 1st ever German African Entrepreneurship Summit (GAES) in Ghana. Vier neue Regionen für Ghana

In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Ministerium für Regionale Umstrukturierung organisiert die KAS vier Workshops in verschiedenen Regionen Ghanas zur “Regionalen Umstrukturierung in Ghana”, um Ideen und Meinungen der traditionellen Oberhäupter einzuholen.
