During extensive dialogues with Indian MPs, representatives of the Indian economy and civic society, Dr. Pfeiffer explored the opportunities and challenges of a deeper Indo-German relationship in the areas of economic cooperation and energy security.

The dialogues focused on the potential of renewable energies and possible cooperation between India and Germany. During a visit of a factory for renewable technology in Chennai, MP Pfeiffer could see the Indian technologies and the possibilities for cooperation with Germany. During discussions with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the Madras Management Association (MMA), as well as with Indian MPs and political representatives, the mutual understanding was deepened and new possible synergies explored. To access the whole potential of the Indo-German relations, it is important to redefine the economic and judicial framework between the two countries through dialogues, in order to create possibilities for a better utilization of the complementary economic relations.
