EU-Project in Aceh and Papua
The new website (www.cefil.info) will provide you with information about SATUNAMA's activities to strengthen the capacities of NGOs in Indonesia and East Timor. SATUNAMA, a Yogyakarta-based NGO, is a long-standing project partner of KAS Jakarta. CEFIL stands for "Civic Education for Future Indonesian Leaders".
KAS and SATUNAMA developed curricula for three different courses (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced). This year, both partners focus on an EU-co-financed project to promote civil society organisations in Aceh and Papua.
The European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR) is an initiative by the European Commission that aims to promote human rights, democracy and conflict prevention in non-EU countries by providing financial support for activities supporting these goals.
