It seems the EU was plunged into a crisis by the turbulent economical development in various member states. The heads of state and government see themself in a struggle to stabilize both their mutual currency and the entire process of integration. What can be learned from the European process of integration, what are possible developments for the EU and what is Germany's role?

The deputy chairperson of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, Professor Beate Neuss, spoke on this issue and subsequently answered questions and comments turning into interesting and long lasting discussions.
