During his stay, Mr. Geyer held a short presentation on "The Limits of Governments: New Stakeholders and Institutions of Globalization. A Decade of Global Economic Governance" at Tsukuba University, initiated a discussion among German and Japanese experts from think tanks, the media and civil society on 'The Challenges of the Current Global Financial and Economic Crisis: a German Assessment' organized by the KAS Office Japan and the KAS Tomono-kai and on his third day met with representatives from economic and financial think tanks and economic journalists to exchange opinions on "Regional Challenges for Economic Governance from a Japanese View" before he went on to the yearly conference of the Korean ORDO Society in Seoul.
