Workshop
Details
Residents need to be empowered on the best approach in participating in their own development. Since the devolved system recognises the Principle of Subsidiarity, with an informed citizenry, the county leadership can engage its residents into achieving their set objectives.
In this regard, we plan to engage the participants in the simple ways and approaches that empowered residents can use as a team to advocate and lobby their elected leaders in participating and inclusion in key sectors of their development organs as provided by law.
These approaches are purely non-confrontational and directed to mutual understanding, cooperation and public consultation for the benefit of all the players.
The constitutional nature of the county government creates an inescapable network of mutuality and cooperation.
