During the workshop experts will have discussions and share different experiences on how to have better approach for increasing energy efficiency on a local level, which will have the impact on creation better opportunities for increasing the energy saving, economic development, quality of living and contribution to the environment protection.

The workshop shall increase the developing of public dialogue between central government, local governments, economic sector, education and civil society.

The workshop is expected to give recommendations to the central authority of government and local governments regarding the importance for supporting the ideas and initiatives for energy efficiency.

The workshop is also meant to develop the idea of a Summer School and a network on this topic.
