The Konrad Adenauer Foundation Office Prishtina in cooperation with the CIVIC Institute for International Education organized the seminar and simulation game “Giving Europe a home”.

The seminar took place from 05 to 07 November 2021, as an online event on Zoom and it brought together KAS scholarship holders, students and young researchers from Kosovo and North Macedonia and trainers from Germany.

Through role play and lectures participants learned about the European Union, its institutions and how they work, but they also had the chance to discover and share what Europe means to them personally. Under methodological guidance by trainers Holger ARNDT, Franziska MININI and Michael GUNGOWSKI of the CIVIC Institute, participants had the opportunity to interactively develop their ideas and expectations for Europe and simulate certain processes in a fun and exciting way.

This time the simulation focused specifically in the cultural components of EU policies, celebrating the European culture in its commonality as well as diversity.
