On 11 November 2025, KAS Kosovo and the German-Kosovar Business Association organized a Business Talks discussion in Prishtina focusing on the role of private healthcare providers within the national health system.
The representative of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Shaban Osmanaj, presented the innovations and the current stage of the bill, while representatives from the private sector — including private health care providers, insurance companies and higher education institutions — shared their comments and recommendations.
The discussions emphasized the importance of a balanced legal framework that guarantees equal access to health services and the effective involvement of the private sector, as a key element for improving the quality and sustainability of the health system in Kosovo.
