Developing society’s post-war resilience in Ukraine – Perspectives and challenges - defence of democracy

With the support from our partners the Hybrid Warfare Research Institute (HWRI), the University of Zadar, the Croatia Statehood Foundation (ZHDZ) and the Institute dr. Janez Evangelist Krek (IJEK), the Konrad Adenauer Foundation organized an international security conference on perspectives and challenges of developing society's resilience after the war in Ukraine from June 5th to 7th, 2023 in Zadar. During the conference experts in various fields from Germany, Austria, Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro Moldova and the Ukraine discussed the Post-war (re)construction of democratic society in Ukraine, the European society's resilience to future challenges, the importance of defending and preserving democracy, and protecting human rights and freedoms.
