The "Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) for SMEs Resilience: Case Insights for a Sustainable Future" report was launched by UN Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei (UNGCMYB) and Universiti Malaya (UM) in collaboration with Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Malaysia on 29 January 2024.

The research was conducted by the Centre of Business Excellence, Faculty of Business and Economics and UMConsult, Universiti Malaya together with UNGCMYB to develop business cases for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and its impact on business resilience

This report offers a panoramic view of the sustainability journey of various Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), from traditional enterprises to innovative digital start-ups, in Malaysia that have reimagined their operations with a sustainable lens. These case studies provide a comprehensive perspective on the integration of Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) practices into different business models and their pivotal role in enhancing business resilience and competitiveness.
