The Social Market Economy of Germany: Lessons for Developing Islamic Economics and for Malaysia

This public talk is a part of the KAS-ARM initiative to encourage public dialogues regarding the Social Market Economy of Germany in the context of the Malaysian economy.


Comparisons shall be made to the Social Market Economy of Germany with Islamic concepts of economy and how the German model which has been implemented since the second world war could provide examples and lessons on how Islamic economics could be further developed.
